Well the first person to have thier sex reassignment surgery recognized publicly was Christine Jorgenson in the 1950's. The surgery itself formed a decade or two earlier. YOU may have discovered this now but that doesn't mean it was never around.

If it's been around forever, why has it only recently become known, and dare I say not only known but "vogue?" What did people do for the thousands of years before 1990? No, gender "disorders" are only a symptom of our sick, female-body obsessed society...

Actually this isn't modern. Gender Identity Disorder has been around since humans have been around. Believe it or not there are in fact animals that have the ability to change thier sex.

when i see this, i am sure that the end of the world is coming. once we start "changing" our genders, nothing in this world is sure anymore. This is a purely modern phenomena. Did people just recently start being "born in the wrong bodies?" If so, why??
