Forgive me, but I thought the Ukranians were the race who had most casualties in the 'great patriotic war', this after Stalin had tried to starve them out of exsistence in the 1930s. But they got it from both sides, and their leader bandera fought both sides, as we British should have, if we have had a proper leader and not Churchill.

The Russians were just taking an eye for an eye. You don't think the Wehrmacht did the same rape and pillage thing through Russia? I'm not saying they're right, if anything they were worse than the Germans who were at least honorable. But let's not forget that more Russians died in the Holocaust than any other Demographic and that it was not Hitler who defended Germany, he was drugged and hopless, it was the German people. Honor the Germans, not the NAZIs, they were the ones who actually fought.
