Somehow doesn't look as hardcore as todays Marine boot camp.

I was in plt 376, graduated in Nov of 1964. The scenes of the M-14 bring back great memories. That was the best rifle ever made. And I sure remember the "crome domes." I knew what to expect at boot camp, and I got in great physical shape before I left for PI. So boot camp was actually enjoyable to me. Forty years after I graduated from PI, I looked up my senior DI and we talked for an hour. I thanked him for turning me into a Marine. He was thrilled to hear from one of his "maggots."

The M14 was my alma mater, while you're bullshittin'...

The M16s not the weapon that needs to be switched out, its the SAW. I loved mine but for that same weight Id rather carry an M60.

I'd rather carry the M468 Barrett Assault Rifle. It's light, it's small, has more stopping power and accuracy than both the AK-47 and M-16, it has a silencer as a standard attachment thus reducing the noise in a combat environment, and it can work in sand water and any other condition possible.

dude im with hardcharging on this one 7.62 has way more stopping power at longer range than the 5.56 and it is everythingg but inaccurate it can accuratly shoot up to and passed 2000 yards try doing that with 5.56 |
