thanks for posting!like ethan hawke very much as an actor and he seemes to be a a nice person, too.I just finished that book, but I wasn´t that touched, maybe because I couldn´t really identify with the charakters and the whole marriage theme.(I´m sorry for my english) Is hís first book any good?

Funny thing Hawke portrayed a localjournalist who had his right handblown off in Snow Falling on Cedars& Cedars links him to Blaise Cendrars.Ashes. Phoenix. Reborn. Lecture.And then we're nothing. Creation.Cool.

I only read one of the two that he's written Ash Wednesday and I like it a lot. It's very well written I thought.
