I'm pretty sure that gitfiddle Yngwie is playing is an Aria Pro. They were released in the early 80s at the same time as the Ibanez rocket rolls. Both guitars blew the Gibson v's out of the water so Gibson launched a lawsuit, and now both are history. Don't quote me on this, it's just what I was told. I do know this however. I own an original Ibanez rocket roll and it is far and away better than my Gibson v.

actually not really quacky, more round, bubbly, i love his tone though on that guitar; it has more depth and body, i'd love to hear it with a rosewood neck...

my bad, that's definitely NOT a fender neck...he's getting a wicked good tone from that guitar though, the notes in the solo are ringing like bells, glassy, quacky, duck tone!
