I don't know how you can call Judd Apatow an unoriginal hack when you only mention Dewey Cox, which was a parody of all the musical biography movies, and you mention Superbad as being a rip off of American Pie and Porky's when that a movie he didn't direct or write he just produced it.

Get a life bagel. Pretty much every premise for every new movie being made these days has been done already in some way or another. Obviously there are a few very original, unique films too but those are few and far between. I'm guessing you think Star Wars was just a rip off of Star Trek too, right? Goodfellas in a way was just a modern day The Godfather. Your argument has no validity.
