well most americans (and i am an american) dont embrace soccer/football like the rest of the world. most of these basketball fans have probably never even seen a soccer game other than their child's U-10 game. its sad. one of the greatest sports on the planet almost ignored by a whole country. im glad we do have a percentage of us that will always keep soccer close to us for generations and hopefully americans will see the greatness of the sport eventually.
