I completeley agree. Tos is one of my favorite games of all time but the animation didn't capture what everyone loves about it.

not to sure yet about this one, but to be honest, the ToS animation is just BAD. It doesnt capture the story or characters much at all (with the exception of Lloyd and Raine) and the battle scenes are just rushed. Infact its so rushed that whether you've played the game or not; you can't feel the emotion *i.e the sorrow between lloyd and collete*

True. Forgot about that. Also, although the relation is non-canon, the "Tales of the World" series also relate, at least in character roster, to the other Tales games. Too bad they're only in Japanese at the moment.
