Lisa Ono considers herself Brazilian which she is. She is of Japanese ancestry and lives in Japan now. Brazilian is not an ethnicity, it's a nationality. There are people of Dutch, German, Arab, Asian, Portugese,etc. ancestry that are Brazilians.

She's Japanese! I k now she was born in Brazil, stayed ther euntil she was 10, then her family moved to Japan. Her dad then opened a bossa nova and samba place in Japan, where she started singing.
