This song gets me everytime. I keep seeing the scene where she dies in my head (*tear*). I wish I could write music like Nobuo Uematsu. This is such a beautiful song.

You're right. He left to focus on his band The Black Mages after FFX. He did help on the intro to FFXII, though. But that's the only thing since then regarding to Squeenix. However, he recently did Lost Odyssey and it is truly amazing.

i could be wrong, but as far as i'm concerned nobuo-sensei no longer composed any music for final fantasy series or for square-enix after ffx. maybe what you feel is lacking is his special touch in the music / ost in the recent ff games. |
