Every beginner should watch Popov swimming, he is perfect. One of the best examples of freestyle technique if not the best.

well, that works at the beginning of the catch, but with a high elbow catch (when you bend your elbow right after the catch and exit), sometimes you forget to do that......

I gave up swimming a long time ago but how come he doesnt hold his palms like a shovel by bending them in order to push himself? That's what i've been taught by polo players.

wow is that really Popov? now the fact that his technique is far from perfect amuses me even more. As said above, his left hand should be closer to his body and so on and so one...that man is a legend...

hi left shoulder doesn't rotate as good as his right shoulder....besides that, can't find any other flaws!!!!
