Every NY band(to wit the one's being currently played on the show "NY NOISE")owes a great debt to this band,more specifically Tom Verlaine. His "herky-jerky" type of playing and especially his use of the tremolo is a unique and very imitated form of playing to this day.

Just brilliant, vastly underated.I still treasure my "prove it" "venus" 12 inch green vinyl record bought way back in 78 or 79,superb quality even today.
