It is wonderful that you told a little about this wonderful young lady....if you don't mind...I understand a few words but if you would please tell me a little more what it's about...I am learning to sing it cuz I found the lyrics online..I swear I listen to this more than 20 times...lol.

You are so rigt to be a fan! Raquel is the best of the youngest fadistas (fado singer). Fado is mostly about feeling and a very tipical atittude and therefore Raquel is what we call "castiça". This song is about fado´s biggest passion and pride, Lisboa (Lisbon), its birthplace.

I saw this early this morning on NatGeo music and my God I was just so attrcted to the guitars and her voice. I am Mexican and worked with portuguese women and girls who taught me a little of the language which is alot like spanish...so I kinda understand it a little but it doesn't matter because it is just sooooo beautiful. I'm a new fan!

In '91, my squadron was passing through Spain, and I saw this song performed by a little Gal, So Cute! I never knew the name of the song but saw this clip on National Geographic Music this morning. Now I'm a Lover Of Portuguese Love Songs!
