The Maliki government drove the Sunnis from Baghdad in the first place. The U.S. walled it off. The U.S. and Maliki don't want the refugees back.

refugees returning will happen but not overnight. why do you think things will happen overnight. Security has improved and that has to be the first thing to happen. Also some refugees have been and are returning

The so-called surge has failed in Iraq. The refugees are not returning to their homes. The ethnic cleansing did produce less violence between groups.

As much as I agree with how wrong this war is, what kind of answer does he expect? Honestly? What a waste of time. I'd support Ron Paul 100% if he'd be as good as getting results as he is as making youtube videos. |
