colts: It's interesting that you say that. This is exactly the sentiment that many Americans felt at the time of the sermon, immediately following 9/11. Many were afraid; bashed ALL Muslims, & wondered WHY the US had been attacked. This illustration of a larger point in his sermon, was an attempt to explain the concept of "blowback" & called upon ALL Americans (himself & his members included) to examine themselves in relation to God, as they responded to the crisis. It wasn't just "cursing."
