Sell one thing to buy another...yup. Same here. Other than my MemoryMoog, which I bought in the early '80s, one board I've kept since the early '90s is my Roland JD800. You may want to try to snap one of these up on ebay or wherever - analog/digi interface synth - with all the sliders for on-the-fly editing - great LFO, TVF, TVA, nice waveforms, multi-timbral, touch/velocity sens. - FAT analog strings, brass - it's my pseudo-Moog! LOL Anyway - peace out, brother - rock on!

Hi...I sold all those boards quite awhile back - you know, the usual financial reasons! I wish I had them all today. The fattest sounding by far was the Memorymoog. Keep yours if at all possible! I used to sell one thing to buy another...but there was a period of a few years when I tried to keep it all. It was just too expensive to maintain. For now I make do with a Mono Evolver Keyboard and some Moogerfoogers. I am just so glad I had the foresight to video tape stuff back then.

OK. I'm a huge Moraz fan, also - so I'm green with envy over here! LOL But what's REALLY getting to me is all the killer analog boards you have! I'm kicking myself for the MiniMoog, the(1 octave)Taurus pedals, Moog Prodigy and the Prophet 5 I had at one time and sold...ARG!!...BUT I still have my old MemoryMoog Plus (I saw a MemoryMoog in your arsenal)....still...wow, man. What a great assortment of boards you have - hey, and nice ear on the patches I heard. Analog RULES!!

how much does it costs a matrix 12 nowadays?
Nishiki2407 (November 19, 2007 at 8:57 am)
Man, the Matrix 12 produces such breathtaking sounds, the synth brass patch at 3:27 sounds just like one Vince Dicola used for the Rocky four soundtrack I know he used alot of Oberhiem gear. |
