actually.. the way he's doing it here, one would really consider the left hand as tapping, cos really, it's doing the same sorta stuff as the right hand.. when i do this sorta stuff, it seems really natural to say that both hands are tapping.. so doesn't HAVE to be the picking hand to be considered tapping i mean..

agreed.esspecially when it comes to acoustic guitars.you really gotta spend a good bit of money to get something decent worth playing and listening to.depending on your style you can get away with cheaper electric guitars if they have what you need for your style.

yeah thats pretty much it but its like hammer pulls and what not you can pluck a string as you unfret it which is how players get constant smooth legatto. you can also get a note by tapping on the fret hard enough though with a lot of guitars you'll get a lot of nasty ass harmonics with it so if you wanna get into touch style buy a properly decent guitar lol
