I live in the US. We have the freedom of speech. Truth hurts. But, we still need to hear it. Somethings are hard to accept because we don't want it to be true. Because it means we have to do something different that will require us to leave our comfort zone. Child birth is the worst pain, but it's the greatest gift because we give of ourselves out of love. No man is an island. We are all connected. We have to take care of others. Tell Mother Theresa that she wasted her time and her love.

true that we will always have the poor. The poor are here to help us learn not to be selfish. Do you honestly think that if all of the poverty stricken people in the world were killed that poverty would disappear? We are a fallen human race. We are not capable of fixing the entire problem alone. Only God can provide for everyone. Problem is we don't ask him to, as all we ever think about is how WE can have more do more, without sharing and giving and sacrificing more. God can not be out done.

That is something that a selfish person would say. Have you ever heard of 'scarcity belief'... it's the belief that there is not enough of anything for everybody. You are afraid that if you give something to somebody then there won't be enough for you. And the source of that fear comes from 'the dark side', evil, hate, satan...whatever label you want to give it. When you give to others God Gives you more. It is better to give than to receive. This life is a test. Selfishness goes nowhere.

1.1 billion did seem a little exagerated when i first heard it, and it's most likely just the recorded income, still, people are still starving. And more people on the face of the earth means more starving people for you to feel guilty about.As for war, I can understand fighting for human rights, but recent events point out today's warlords have other things on their schedule
