Actually the car in the knight rider 2000 movie was a mitsubishi platform disguised as the pontiac banshee concept car. As you can see when the car takes off quickly in the end of the movie it's front wheel drive.

yeah but general motors didnt want to sponsor the movie. so ford jumped in and they took the mustang/shelby.not the producers fault.

NBC should have waited for the new camaro or dodge challenger for their 2008 K.I.T.T instead of the mustang that ford is gonna change again soon anyways. The new pontiac G8 would have worked out better than a mustang. |
