Sophisticated Electronics inside this first version of the Vectron model makes it fly. It flies similar to a helicopter and is really a lot of fun. There are newer versions now too as it is still available. Hope you enjoyed more nostalgia from Mr. Herbert's Science class

does it actually know where it is or is what is happening when you use the remote, that you are causing the main central control to make one of the three arms holding the propellers to have the propeller spin reverse direction and to raise and lower altitude isn't the remote signaling the control center to slow the fans or to speed them up, lower or raise, respectively? and is there an ac cord connected to your device? also if this entire item had larger props more power lift more weight ?

There is a transformer plugged into the wall. The wire from that plugs into the Transmitter. There is also a wire coming out of the transmitter that goes to the Vectron, Which Supplies power.

ok.thats cool but how does that work?
NightFlyyer (July 15, 2008 at 3:21 am)
Huh? Come on! This thing uses the wire to get its power, since there is no batteries in it at all. It all plugs into the house. It flies a long time and I never have to buy batteries. Your comparison is not valid for this unique machine. And the old video recorders years ago, had wired remotes, I might add.

Not true. There are no batteries in this original as it gets its power through the wire from the Transmitter, which is plugged into the house current.
NightFlyyer (July 15, 2008 at 3:18 am)
Not true on this, as the wire is where the motors get power. There are no batteries.
