They're known as Tiltrotor Aircrafts, I'd prefer if they were classified as Heliplanes though

i dint think theas thigns were prefected yet, i just watched a program saying theas things were still in testing, and that was a documentry made in 2007!

Unlike twin rotor helos, the shaft is normally unloaded when both engines are operating. Should one engine fail, the shaft instantly loads and spreads remaining power equally to both proprotors. In a twin rotor aircraft there is no need for anything to act as a tail rotor. V-22 and 609 can make an emergency runon landing even with nacelles full forward. Blades break off and are thrown outward from aircraft. Again, this would only be in extreme emergency after multiple failures
