his whistling matches every pitch he plays on the glockenspeil, so you must not like instruments that are in that family. or you're just a failed musician that is hating on andrew bird because he's getting somewhere with an odd style of music.

I was introduced to the music of Andrew Bird through watching his live webcast performance at Coachella . Right away I noticed (noticed is hardly the word, how 'bout... tried to ignore) an oddity in his show - on several songs, almost all of them really, he was whistling. I know what you're thinking: 'It's just whistling. How bad could it be?' It wasn't just whistling. Think of the warbling shriek of the most annoying bird you've ever heard in your life amplified through a microphone.

WillADDYes I have seen the faces that the "father of the drum kit" and "drumming" made.Gene Krupa? Definitely not a novice "kit player"Gene Krupa was a genuine trailblazer and THE legend of drumming.Gene Kruper, John Bonham and Keith Moon pulled faces when they were playing the drums. They were NOT the focus of the band. You cannot compare a drummer sitting behind a drum kit to a singer or the front man of a band.That is a ridiculous comparison. Lead men should not act queer.
