No it isn't my opinion, I'm just talking about a misconception that I read frequently, in fact GEoD is my favorite book of the series, Leto II, The Tyrant, The worm is a very captivating character, he is like Christ, he knows that he has to go thru the ordeal of the passion and to be betrayed by...(spoiler)

why would people be let down in God emperor of Dune? I feel that at this point, the writier has tranceded his humanity and is writing something that may or may not be seen ever again by any other writer. IMO

Thanks for the advice cmsahe. I'm reading through them all now, and so far they've been pretty cool. However, it kind of feels like it's lost its touch now I'm at God Emperor of Dune, but I'll stick with it.

the Dune movie was AWFUL - bad cutting - bad actors - after about half way the movie feels completely rushed as they skip over way too many details - but the movie i watched didnt have this scene either so maybe it was cut...

Read the whole series, to Chapterhouse Dune, do not despair nor feel let down when you get to God Emperor of Dune, the last three novels have a logic that completes the circle of the series and IMO the KJA/BH prequels and sequels are a loss of time and un-official corporate fan fiction.
