No, thinkpad's have an accelerometer which detects an accidental drop of a laptop to shut off its hard drive mid-air. It can be used as a motion sensor with applications and games.

yeah it did seem weak. there were other issues too. i think they ironed them out many anyway on the t61p.I now have T42 (2378-fvu), and it's great.

the t60 have cool design. but the sound on t60 sucks :/ i have a t60 but not more new i have a z61 is better. |
