ya or how they double or triple track vocals so often now. I'd have to say he's the most underrated vocalist of the last 25 years.

yea they probably didnt add any digital enhancing to his voice at all and thats pretty sick considering of how often it goes on

It appears as if we expect a live performance to sound different (worse) than a recorded studio version. I guess people like Layne Staley, Chris Cornell (in the 90s) and Scott Weiland didn't have to do much more than just record what they sang. No fancy editing needed. =)
