There is no one song/artist that has the power to destroy the history of an entire genre, it only has the power to change the perspective of a individual who listens to it and that's only if you allow it to. You probably didn't have a good opinion of rap or hip hop BEFORE you heard this song so why would you expect for it to change AFTER you heard it?
