Desktop is better its easy to update the hardware while laptops are harder to do that.

i use my MacBook as a desktop when i'm at home. Got my keyboard, mouse, usb hub, 20" LCD :D. Yeah, its sweeet.

Personally I like laptops over desktops Personally I think both laptops and towers have close to the same power. Some might say different but I tell you every game I have put on here has worked beautifully. The only thing I must say I do not like with my current laptop is the burner/CDROM, but that is a whole different ball game. Go Laptop.Tried to get in the room but still not working for me
