Dunleavy is a fucking douche when he says "maybe we over looked them", you don't overlook a team that only has one loss less than you and you're playing in their house.

The 2009-10 season is shaping up to be a special one for the boys if Gary Williams can finally start recruiting like a bigtime D1 coach should. If Dupree and Gilchrist develop like they should and we get Armwood, Mosley and Jin Soo Kim coming in, Maryland will be loaded and should be ready to contend for the Final Four again

First, keep your eye on Florida's program in the 2008-09 season. Second, Chris Wilcox's early departure has something to contribute to the Terrapin downfall, because it's very difficult to build a team without some nucleus to hold it together. Williams got Ebekwe and Strawberry after Blake left, and they were All-americans, maybe not McDonald's calibur, but definitely talented. Recruiting is difficult and when young players leave a program, it's difficult it maintain a championship team.

The fall of the University of Maryland basketball program is unparalleled. How a team can go from Final Four in 2001, to National Champion in 2002, to not making the tournament the past 3 years is beyond me.Williams must go. He refuses to recruit McDonalds All Americans.

Who were the other #1 teams that lost at Cole Field House? besides Duke on that day

If Duke was #1 and Maryland was #3, who was #2at the time? |
