No it's usually from a protein deficiency like kwashiorkor. Google it if you don't believe me. Not all starving children have malaria, but all of them, by definition, will be malnourished. Therefore kwashiorkor is more often the reason for their pot belies.Maybe next time you shouldn't be so arrogant and rude to people.

You're an idiot. Malaria causes Splenomegaly (swelling of the spleen) and hepatomegaly (swelling of the liver. It has to due with the massive multiplication of parasites within these particular host cells.The fact that a person as ignorant as you can exist in the world proves why this video is still relevant.
