The holy grail on this piece is to bring out the echo version of the melody, in the top of the right hand, equally with the first version, played by the thumb. This he succeeds brilliantly in doing. It ain't easy -- Pogorelich for example doesn't do it.

His interpretation is so gorgeous and musical. I can't say enough good things about his Chopin. He's a genius!

the best interpretation for this etude.

not bad, but my favorite is Garrick Ohlsson's interpretation of this etude. He treats each occurence of the main phrase slightly different each time.

I've never seen anyone use selfcomplimentary ways of expression before, aside from Massmiliano. I think many people should use his way of expression!

this guy is a genius, i really like his interpretation. i esp love how he compliments himself as he goes along (in italian?) :D - thats how he expresses emotion, and its workin great
