In a lab any measurment should be dene 5 times AT LEAST and then we can calculate avarege, so, 3 tests are not enough. 8)

The problem is that this was the 3rd in a series of tests. In the previous test only a few months earlier the M4 scored 307, putting it in competitive range with these newer rifles. This 3rd test was the first time that the army had repeated a test using the same conditions (they added more lube to the 2nd test). In science the result needs to be predictable to be considered valid. A test that has a difference of 575 in an average of <400 should disqualify it for legitimate comparison.

The scar heavy fires the 7.62 x 51mm NATO round which is the same with of the AK 47 round, but with a longer cartridge. Accuracy shouldn't be a problem for this weapon. :)
arnoldm101 (July 22, 2008 at 11:52 pm)
if the scar heavy uses the same round as the ak47,will it suffer the same inaccuracy at a distance? pls, show some comparison test at a distance of 200 yds. or more.tnx
LordVimes42 (July 21, 2008 at 11:41 pm)
yeah, but you realize that the AK 47 is about 50 years old and accurate as crap by today's standards. Seriously, if you're curious, look up the target groupings from the M16 assault rifle and the AK 47. You will be amazed.
grapesodatoday (July 21, 2008 at 4:56 pm)
the scar heavy has way to long a barrel. The AK 47 uses the same round but has a short barrel for the round.

your right. the premise is smart money wise for hk but for our soldiers? no. |
