i saw this movie when i was eleven, i never thought prime would die, he was an insperation to me

And it was pretty ballsy of them to just throw a whole new set of characters at us and leave us with no option but to accept their whole new line of products. I lost interest in the franchise and stopped watching and buying toys within a year of the films release. Funny how the film was supposed to be a major selling point for them, but ultimatley it killed off the franchise for much of the original fan base. The new toys sucked and were so expensive.

hell yeah, I saw this film in the theater when it first came out. I was upset about all the Transformers dying too. I didn't realize that the film was a ploy to introduce us to a whole new line of toy products. Funny how their lazer guns never killed eachother in the cartoon on TV but suddenly their fights turned into a scence from "The Wild Bunch" where everybody dies. Show was never as good after this movie. And, what pulse do you think that heart monitor machine was checking on a robot?

They Killed Of Optimus and so many other Transformers in the Movie because the toy line for Transformers cancelled the old line and brought in the new toys like Hot Rod so they needed to have reason why all of a sudden there were all these new Transformers and others werent around anymore but thankfully later in Season 3 Of Transformers they revived Optimus back to life
