There is technology way beyond this. The "Hologram" that they are showing here? We are only shown things in the infant stages as usual.......

After 3 minutes of watching that exchange I noticed my eyes were just a little wider. Relative to where IP communications were just 5 or even 2 years ago, that's pretty damn impressive. I'm not quite a Cisco "fanboy" but I am a fan. As a customer, is Cisco a pain in the ass sometimes (full pop SmartNet contracts for simple OS upgrades). Feel free to name a large company - or any company, that isn't.

lol, TelePresence is offered by many companies like HP, Polycom... and you do sound a little bit ignorant implying this was a magic show with some guy off stage. It's a real demonstration, and it's cool given the fact that one guy is in California, and the other is in India. The impressive aspect is in the networking and the speed. The video/hologram could have looked more realistic, with better coloring, and lighting...

Things that I heard inside Cisco, we don't trust our partners, We only offer good discounts to our best partners. Have a networking project? don't recommned you Cisco as your provider.

What's with all the Cisco fan-boys? Did every Indian that was at the speech have to come on line and post "Awesome"? This is pretty neat, but "speechless!"? Really? It's an incremental step better than having him sitting at a desk with a camera pointed at him.
