its record as one of the winningest teams in history also means its cars are probably faster, and its drivers are often driving closer to the edge. These factors can combine for greater accidents than most over time

Respect to niki that managed to overcome this and win the championship with a magical comeback, but also respect to the other drivers that stopped the race to help him out!You know, i blame ferrari for this, it is the make with the most accidents/deaths in history of f1...or one of the first...DAMN U Ferrari, shame on you!! You should do more tests...Niki is Lucky to be alive!

Niki was sooo lucky to survive this and probably wouldn't have if his F1 colleagues hadn't of pulled over to help.

Nikolas Andreas Lauda has been my favorite race car driver since 1975, if anyone gets the chance to read his autobiography please do , great reading.After Ferrari, he drove with for Brabham, and ended his career with Mclaren winning one last World Championship, and is now owner of Lauda Airways out of Austria.
