I first heard Livin' Thing when my older brother bought the 45 when it was new, and then I remember hearing Turn to stone almost nonstop during the blizzard of January 1978. I also remember Sweet talkin' woman, Mr. Blue sky, DOn't bring me down, and LAst train to London and had no idea it was by the same group, even though I loved them all.

It was about 1983 that I first read about Wizzard, but did not get my hands on any Move or Wizzard stuff until about 1992, a friend of mine found The Move Split Endz LP and gave it to me. Love at first listen. The Move, Wizzard, an even ELO's studio albums were hard to come by until the 90s. I remember almost feeling dizzy from joy when I found the cassettes of face the music and on the third day around 1987.

Same here!; except I am not American. and I researched E.L.O. 30 years ago,and found the amazing link between the Move,Wizzard and E.L.O.on my own.I swear that as a 10 year old, I loved Blackberry Way,See My Baby Jive and 10835 Overture, independant of realising the common connection!.It was(and is)just great music done brilliantly.

Roy Wood rules!! I guess he was sort of like Britain's Todd Rundgren, or vice versa as Roy Wood was a legend before Todd. I don't understand how he never got that popular here in America, I only discovered him by researching ELO (the best music makers ever).

Anyone ever noticed that Roy Wood looks like a psychedelic Karl Marx?
