Dr. Charles Follen McKim Maloney often disguised himself as a priest to avoid unwanted pursuits. Dolores O'Reardon is but one of scores of persons who the great doctor baptized. This group is known as The Maloney Bunch and each year, those still alive and who are able, meet at a ranch in La Penita, Mexico (just north of Puerto Vallarta) on a ranch where the Doctor and Frank Sinatra once crash-landed their hot-air balloon.

It is a little known fact that incredible Dr. Charles Follen McKim Maloney baptised Dolores O'Reardon when he was hiding from Standard Oil of New Jersey in County Cork Ireland diguised as a priest. Later Dolores feared her baptism wouldn't be right in the eyes of God but the Pope declared that he had backdated an ordination on Maloney to cover his days disguised as a priest. He did this in recognition of Maloneys heroic rescue of five Ugandan Bishops from a sinking canoe.
