Bob Randall is an Yankunytjatjara Elder and a traditional owner of Uluru (Ayers Rock). In the early 70's Bob's song, "Brown Skin Baby (They Took Me Away)" became an anthem for the Aboriginal people. Im as white as they come. Songs and reflections like this make me cry as well. I think some people feel dehumized because they have actually suffered such humiliation.

That's interesting. I'm also a Black American with an interest in Black cultures of the Pacific. I'm also interested in the different ways racism is affecting their lives. I've noticed much of the venom directed at them and the social conditioning is similar to that which blacks encounter all over the globe.I've heard and viewed video by some of their community activists and it feels good to know they are determined to grow stronger in spite of the obstacles and aggression.

Hun, Muntant Message has been proven false. Especially since a lot of evidence is very contridicting. For example she wrote she joined the male aborigines in the tribe for a spiritual chant. It is wrong. Because it's only men's business not women's business.
