no without geddy lee there would be no rush but im sure les still would be great and where he is now by idoling other bass legends and he has far passed geddys level years ago and im a rush fan also

wow, geddy,claypool,entwhistle,larry graham ETC... anyone who thinks matt freeman can compete with those men on a groove creativity basis is out of their damn mind. I could play half the shit freeman plays in my sleep... OOOH, one arpp played as fast as possible for a minute. YEAH, thats really fuckin cool. i guess i could say freeman has a nice speed factor to his playing, thats it...

Matt freeman is an amazing bass player. Journey to the end of east bay is still my favorite thing to play on the bass, but geddy lee would whoop his ass anyday of the week.
