Why don't you just use a whip antenna at exactly 1.22 metres so it's 10x the wavelength of 802.11g wireless?

i have verison fios and im getting 190k/s on wifi and im about 85 feet from my rouder and theres like five walls betwen me and the rouder. when i plug in i get 210k/s. could using your boost trick or the usb dish in prove my wifi or not and does any one know how much the cost?

I have a Linksys WRT54GS that I have open TCP ports on. I only use it for my webserver, and my VOIP router. Then coming off of the WRT54GS is a Linksys WRT310N that I use for all of the rest of the computers (4 laptops, and 2 desktops) just to make sure that they are secure from the open ports and anything else. Plus it is a gigabit router (to make the file transfers between computers faster) and it has wireless N. |
