these liberal lefty apoligists have really milked this incident. i just saw an advert for ANOTHER shitty tv programme they have made about it. Its bad enough the police responsible for the fatal ACCIDENT have to live with it for the rest of their lives without these weirdos constantly going on about it

I agree entirely. The police are the only people in this country that can kill with impunity,never committing murder....the police however are always "muredered". If we have to accept death as risk when the police are involved then they should be tried for murder when they kill.

Its not exactly sudden. The Stephen Lawrence Report, the deaths in custody statistics ( particularly ethnic minorities), Birmingham six and countless other cases like them indicate that these are not necessarily isolated incidents concerning an individuals judgement.

Harry Stanley was indeed a very sad case. The man, for whatever reason, acted towards police in a manner which suggested that he was about to shoot a suspected shotgun (Verified by independant witnesses). As for dirty harry - not even He is required to be shot before returning fire. Suggest you read R -v- Beckford 1969. I know the officers have. God Bless.

The problem is they tried to cover it up and over and over this will happen, we don't educate the police, we only imploy the idiots, so they will follow orders. They don't think, they are not trained to think. They are the club of the estb, and it isn't cost effective.

MetalSanke, the Metropolitan Police WILL NOT accept it was mistake and both the officers involved and senior officers have lied about the victims actions throughout the investigation to try and justify themselves. The lack of professionalism and the subsequent lies are unforgivable. I am a retired UK Fire Officer and have respect for the Police and their job. I would have had more respect had accepted their mistake and apologised to the victims family instead of vilifying their son.

The MET shoot one man and suddenly the british are evil. Certian the shooting was a tradgedy and the people involed has lost their jobs. It was tragic and so was the war |
