Yikes, oh dear. I love 'er and I know it was the eighties, but too many weird flower things going on. It didn't even occur to me that she was about 40 although you see her looking older, good aging (agreed about her skin color, yes).

Do you guys realize she was like 40 here? She looks damn good! (despite her 'whiteness') LOL She was born in like 1943 I think...She's 65 now and looks great on 'So you think you can dance'... I bet those solid gold dancers are tired now!!!!

What a contrast.Toni Basil looks horrid, whereas the female Solid Gold dancers were (and some of them probably still are,despite their age) some of the sexiest and most beautiful girls ever to have graced this planet.

I was never good at skating backwards! lolI discovered Mountain Dew in crushed ice at the roller rink. Centipede, Robotron, all the good games too. haha

I just turned 9 lol when this came out. I vaguely remember seeing this when the episode was on, and how excited is was lol! 82-83 was like my fav, era of music and my childhood. Solid Gold rocked!! Nothing my made me more excited on Sat nites seeing Dance Fever then S Gold!! |
