I agree with the flute being too loud but I dont think he would get the sound that needed without blowing hard enough which gives the flute its volume. This should get recorded in a studio.

I'm sorry but I've been watching his other videos and listened to the excerpts on the site and I think in this video the flute sound is too loud. Wich is not on the other videos

But that's kind of the point of what he does. He gets all of the coarser, rougher sounds from the flute, where another flautist would play the softer melodies more familiar to classical music. If you watch a few of his other videos, you'll see what I mean. He has his masters in music, so he's not just blowing into a metal pipe. He knows exactly what he's doing. |
