i've owned many air/water-cooled vw's;and if they do break-down,its cuase i've been hard on them,like ANY car,abuse it, and you'll pay,,,some vw's are NOT built in Germany, and they tend to have problems...and ANY BRAND dealership you go to, they're rip-offs..[chrysler,anyone?]..but THIS you MUST admit: BEST RIDE QUALITY. faster you go, the BETTER it handles..not many american.jap ars can say that...[if any]....

the trouble with VW is that the executives spend too much time shagging whores and not enough time working out why their cars break down all the time, and cost an arm and a leg to fix

i don't like this commercial, it's stupid. but i do love and enjoy my '73 superbeetle! amazing what some NOS will do to a little 40 horsepower engine!
