The guitar actually sounds much more like Bill Frisell. Of course, Fred Frith has a long history of facinating, beautiful, humorous, playful, and eclectic guitar playing that is well worth investigating. Most of it isn't nearly as conventional as this is, however. Not to diminish to how beautiful this piece is though...
