I'm a Flyers fan. This was definitely an illegal hit and it was certainly suspension worthy. However.. Patrice, coming to a dead stop with his back to his pursuer invites injuries such as this. Yes, it was a bad hit.. but he (Bergeron) could have prevented his own injury by not coming to a stop, and keeping his legs moving.

Then why is it that we did beat Montreal when you couldn't? You guys played practically the entire season without Bergeron, don't say that his absence was the reason you fell short.

No shit soxpatsfan113 I agree.Plus they made it to the playoffs with a lot of injures.Savard was out for the last 7 games of the the regular season
