I'm quite aware of that. I'm not a "kiddo" either ;) I do hate George Bush, but that is not the reason for my annoyance with America. I was merely replying to a previous post where an American made a rather pathetic comment about the British.

No offense brother, but comparing America's and Britain's history of offenses. America's is quite shameful in many ways, but small in comparison to the (former) "Empire's".It is *merely fashionable* to indict America because of George Bush. Re-read what I wrote. I said "America is not in the position to insult Britain" which they aren't. Britain may be wending it's way towards a complete breakdown, but America is already stationed there. I do not need a history lesson either, I know Britain's history is not incredibly impressive in that context either, but we are doing a damn sight better than America. You need to look into what I said. I didn't once actually say we are better, just that Americans shouldn't be insulting us.
